The Garden celebrates 15 Years with a summer party inspired by the food, drink,  and art of Mexico!

August 7th, 2024

TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT – Thank you for your incredible support!

This summer, the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden celebrates 15 years at 5941 Mason Road in West Sechelt!

The Garden, as we know and enjoy it today, has undergone an incredible transformation under the care of past and present staff, volunteers and Board Members, and with the support of our donors, sponsors and community.

We welcome back all who have been a part of the Garden’s journey to celebrate what has been achieved and to be a part of what is still to come.

To commemorate this anniversary, we’ve taken inspiration from the colours, plants and food of Mexico, and the Latin American tradition of the ‘quinceañera,’ a celebration of the 15th birthday. This year’s summer event will include an evening dance, with delicious food and drink, activities and a silent auction.

Proceeds will support the Garden’s next phase: outfitting the greenhouse for our Plant Propagation program, and an exciting makeover for our hardworking, volunteer-run Veggie Garden which donates its yield to the Food Bank!

We are grateful for the support of our generous sponsors
